Mrs. Yood?........wasn't she a teacher at the Heath School?  Seems like my (5 years older) brother  had her.  Are we talking the same Mrs. Yood?    I'm curious to know who started this thread.

Maybe is was Mrs. Yood.  Can' remember how it was spelled.  In any event, I am from that so-called advanced class which invaded Heath School in 5th grade.  We spent three years at Heath and then were shipped off to Driscoll in 8th grade.  It was not necessarily easy for us and most of us never developed an allegiance to one particular school so I felt as if we needed our own forum.

 By the way, neither Dickie Fine nor Ronnie Pitt was in our class.  I think we might have had two students from Heath:  Alan Dana and Walter Faxon, but I am not completely sure.

Yes, Alan and Walter and I were the Heath kids who joined Mrs. Yood's class.   Actually, I had only been at Heath for 1 year before 5th grade, having been at Devotion prior to that.  I remember knowing you at Devotion, Judy, and it looks like you and Margie Kaplan were in my kindergarten class.  I'm the goofy smiley kid in the back row on the right.

 What a great picture!!! I don't remember this one, but I can pick myself out in the front row and Margie Kaplan in the second row. 

Ethel Yood taught 23 of us 4th and 5th grade at Heath.  This was the "Experimental Class" Then we were moved with her to Driscoll for 7 and 8.
