Hey Guys.  I think I remember....

Some of the Pierce teachers.   K)  Mrs. Richardson 1)  Miss Rowe  2)  Miss Schuler & Miss Joslin  3)  Miss Hiltz  4)  Miss Rose  5) Miss Parker  6)  Mrs McQuaid  7)  Mrs Vogel & Miss Eidson  8)  Mrs Bailey & Mrs Agnew.   I remember sliding down the stairs in the Primary Bldg. holding onto the banister and putting my shoes on the metal runner underneath.  How about Gym teachers?  Wasn't Miss Griffiths our primary gym teacher?  Mr. Devio was in the big school later.  There was a fat, older guy earlier that I remember liked to hit kids with a medicine ball.  Maybe Mr. Armstrong?  Mr. Baloucas coached basketball I think.  Music?  Art?  Industrial Arts teacher missing one finger.  Home Ec?  I remember I had an Israeli woman teaching French.  Really screwed up my accent after learning from her and practicing with Jimmy Hartigan's French-Canadian mother.  Dr. Corcoran of course.  How about the Secretary or Nurse?  And the mimeograph machine and sniffing the papers on the way back to class.  Crossing School Street for recess in virtually all weather.  The vacuum tube near the cafeteria back door that sucked up gum wrappers.  How about the janitors and lunch ladies?  Lunch for a quarter and brownies for a nickel (dime?).  What else do you remember?  We had a green cardboard book of individual photos for 8th grade class pictures.  Does anyone have one left?  Let's see what we can string together leading up to the reunion.  See ya.  George
